Random Acts of Kindness
All of us at one time or another has helped someone…not for payment and not for a thank you. But we got paid just the same…..we got paid by the undeniably great feeling you get when you do something nice for someone. What if you could get this feeling every single day and at the same time inspire others to do their own good deeds and experience that same great feeling? You could literally start a chain reaction of good deeds and good feelings. We believe that the “power of one” can make a difference in the world……and we would like to take you along for the ride, if you’re willing.Our Goal: To Initiate and Encourage Good Deeds That Snowball Into Other Good Deeds……And Have An Amazing Amount Of Fun In The Process!
In celebration of 30 fantastic years in business, we are introducing our Random Acts of Kindness program; a program of considerate unexpected good deeds that we all can do that will “make someone’s day.” Imagine that you are standing in line at your local Starbucks and in addition to purchasing your coffee; you purchase the stranger’s coffee behind you….imagine their reaction. Maybe it is something simple, like changing your elderly neighbor’s flat tire, or bringing in his or her empty trash cans….or maybe it is simply volunteering to help your favorite charity.
We’d love it if you’d join us! Imagine the chain reaction of random acts of kindness we could create together. Don’t be shy, let us know about the acts of kindness you have preformed, or if you are too ill at ease to do that, let us know about acts of kindness you see others performing. You might start a neighborhood acts of kindness program; you might teach children about the importance of “paying it forward” And when someone does a good deed for you, please remember to pass it on.
Needless to say, we would like to hear from you. Please submit y our act of kindness and let us know how you or someone you know made a difference today. (We will post them on our web site so that your act may inspire others)
If you know of someone in need, please let us know about that also. We are going to review all of those recommendations, and over the next year we are going to pick 30 situations (one to celebrate each year we are in business) and provide a random act of kindness.
